About

Organized by a group of Halifax based artists, and hosted by the SuperNova Theatre Festival with cooperation from the Khyber Institute of the Contemporary Arts, PCC Halifax will bring 100 artists, educators, critics, presenters, and funding institutions together to explore investigate issues inspired by our theme- Bridge Walking: Reconciling the gap between avant-garde art and popular culture! The ‘informal’ format the conference means the events are always focused on conversation between participants, and an open exchange of viewpoints as well as perspectives.

PCC Halifax organizing committee is:

Cory Bowles
Dustin Harvey
Christian Barry

Denyse Karn

Performance Creation Canada is a nationwide network dedicated to the nourishment, management and study of performance creation in Canada, and the ecology in which it flourishes. The meeting is aimed at creating a discussion between artists in dance, theatre, music, film, and visual arts. It is free to attend, and open to anyone interested in discussion. It is held twice every year somewhere in the country.
